Barnardo's Works North East - Childcare City

What we do

Barnardo's Works provides unemployed young people and parents living in Aberdeen with relevant training and support to gain confidence to move into the childcare sector. Our programme funded by Aberdeen City Council, will provide an opportunity for work placements, sector specific qualifications etc.

We can help with

    Employability/skills

  • We support young people to gain the skills they need to enter the world of work by providing advice and advocating for them. We focus on increasing children and young people's confidence, resilience and self-esteem through employment, work experience, volunteering, educational opportunities and qualifications so they are able to thrive.
