What we do
Improving Child and Family Arrangements is a court ordered programme through CAFCASS. Referrals come through lead agency CANW, from the courts and CAFCASS Family Court Advisers. The aim of the service is to make a positive difference to the lives of children and their families.
We can help with
- Children shouldn't be punished because members of their birth family aren't able to care for them. When they are separated, perhaps because a parent is in prison or because they need to be looked-after by their local authority, we support contact between them to help maintain family relationships.
