East Ayrshire Children & Families Service

What we do

To support children and young people to reduce their alcohol/drug use to safe levels and improve their personal outcomes.

To increase the young peoples knowledge of alcohol and substance misuse risks, promote health and well-being and personal development. Inputs will also be provided from relevant agencies.

Provide intensive support to families who
are experiencing Domestic Abuse where alcohol is a factor.

We can help with

    Substance misuse

  • We support children and young people when an adult close to them, or they themselves, use substances in a way that becomes problematic, harmful, or dependent. We offer them advice and information on the impact of high risk behaviours, such as drug or alcohol misuse, violence and domestic abuse. We also provide access to intervention and treatment services, along with one-to-one and peer support.

We support families affected by domestic abuse to change behaviour, improve wellbeing, reduce risk and increase safety.
