What we do
Newry Child Contact Centre is a safe, friendly and neutral place where children of separated families can spend time with one or both parents, and sometimes other family members. It is a child-centred environment that puts the needs of the children first. The staff and volunteers provide a supported contact facility for parents and children in the Southern Trust locality.
We can help with
- Children shouldn't be punished because members of their birth family aren't able to care for them. When they are separated, perhaps because a parent is in prison or because they need to be looked-after by their local authority, we support contact between them to help maintain family relationships.
