What we do
PosAbility facilitates the involvement of Children and Young People with a wide range of learning, physical, sensory and medical conditions to be involved in high-level strategic planning with HSCB and SHSCT, enabling them to have their say in service developments that impact their lives.
The service runs a number of programmes throughout the Southern Trust Area and Regionally throughout Northern Ireland.
The project delivers programmes in person and online to young people on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
We can help with
- Children and young people have a right to be heard and involved in decisions about them, so we enable and support them to participate in decision making processes.
- Search for Rights and participation services
- Advocating for children is at the heart of everything we do. We work to make sure children and young people with disabilities are included in community activities and decisions about themselves.
