What we do
The West Yorkshire Neurodevelopmental Family Navigator Pilot improves the support for families who are waiting for neurodevelopmental assessment and increase capacity in the system for parental support. The Pilot works:
1. To provide pre-diagnostic peer support
2. Where possible, introduce experts by experience to help improve service experience.
3. To prevent potential crisis and deterioration of wellbeing for the family
4. To involve parents/carers in improving service delivery
5. To have relevant information and signposting to local community support
