A finance firm has helped to spread some festive cheer this week by delivering gifts to families in temporary accommodation supported by children’s charity Barnardo’s.
Crystal Specialist Finance who are based in Tamworth visited families and delivered Christmas gifts to some very excited children.
Barnardo’s supports families across Birmingham who are residing in a variety of hostels, B&B`s, hotels and homes and offers ongoing support, counselling and wellbeing checks. Essential weekly visits also help to ensure the safety of the children and families.
Adam Cooper, Assistant Director Children’s Services, Barnardo’s said:
“We support families across Birmingham who need our help the most and we are extremely grateful to Crystal Specialist Finance who have brought some much needed joy to families.
“This time of year can often be challenging, and this year with the cost of living crisis, the need to bring some festive cheer is even greater. Seeing the team bring smiles to children’s faces has been wonderful to see.”

The service is run by Barnardo's in collaboration with Birmingham Forward Steps.
