This report presents learning from an evaluation of Barnardo’s Sexual Exploitation Children’s Outreach Service (SECOS).

In exploring the views of stakeholders, including young people supported by Barnardo’s, the SECOS project team, and external professionals working with SECOS in the local area, the evaluation finds that SECOS incorporates a wide range of effective responses for tackling child sexual exploitation. Examples of this include working in a consistent and flexible manner to build and retain relationships with young people and focusing on reflective practice to adapt to changing needs and circumstances.
