This Barnardo’s Scotland report covers the use of Professional or Reflective Supervision in Education.
The issue of teacher mental health and wellbeing is starting to crop up in much public and political discourse across the rest of the UK as well, and a lack of support and supervision in the profession is starting to be identified as one of the problems.
We hope that this report can go some way to stimulating and furthering the national conversation which has been started in Scotland around Supervision in Education as a means to ensuring that those who care for our children and young people are cared for themselves.
