What we do
Barnardo’s Parent and Infant Programme (PIP) is a structured programme, delivered weekly in community venues for parents/carers of children aged 0– 3 years. The programme uses a child centred approach to encourage all areas of development including speech, language and communication. Staff offer parents advice, guidance and support on a range of issues including: building positive relationships/interaction in the early years, understanding their child’s development/behaviour and looking after their own wellbeing.

- No matter how much you love each other, looking after your family can be tough at times. We provide training programmes and workshops, learning activities, community based development support and mediation services so families are supported so together they can thrive.
